We opened Travelscene American Express Southbank in 2008 to service the Southbank/Melbourne area with outstanding travel options and an exceptional quality of service to meet the discerning needs of our clients. Since opening we have established ourselves in the heart of Southbank but also have individual clients as far away as NSW and Queensland and companies from Melbourne to Singapore. In 2012 we moved our business to Doncaster to coincide with the release of our first Focus Website Vietnam Focus. We could not be prouder of the friendly team of consultants we have and the premium level of service they deliver.
It goes without saying that we have all travelled extensively (and still are). Not only this, our consultants have lived travelling; spending years traversing across the globe taking note of the smaller details that help put together well planned itineries for you. If you love the snow then some of us are fanatics with skiing, having skied in Europe, Nth America, Japan, New Zealand and of course here at home. Abbey started with a pair of skies on her feet at the age of 3, James started skiing at 5 and we have been skiing for over 35 years.
Our business background includes hotels and we like to use our experience to help us source properties that are unique in very special places.
Cruising is very popular in Southbank and we are continually upgrading our staffs training in this area.

Abbey Reeves
Abbey was "unfortunate" to have parents that did not like staying in one place. Born into the hospitality business Abbey's parents have had motels, hotels and caravan parks from Geelong to Mackay. Abbey has travelled throughout Australia from an early age exploring the beaches, reefs and rainforests of Cairns all the way down to Hervey Bay. She has spent many holidays in places like Fraser Island, Noosa, Gold Coast, Whitsundays, Sydney and throughout Victoria.
Abbey has had several trips to Malaysia, Singapore, Disneyworld in Florida, Dubai and in 2006 spent 6 weeks in Italy. Her most recent trips include time in Bali , skiing in Whistler and Silver Star (2008), Calgary and Lake Louise (2009). as well as the US to check out LA and Disneyland. This year 2010 she has visited the Phillipines twice and has spent a month touring Japan from North to South. To add to this Abbey just had a week in Thailand covering Phuket and Bangkok. Obviously Abbey's passion is travelling and especially snow skiing, having her first pair of skis on her feet at the age of 3, Abbey always manages to get a few weeks skiing in somewhere in the world between her other "work" travel commitments and is off again to Furano, Japan in Feb. as a part of the harry gotto club - www.harrygotto.com.au
Abbey completed her formal training at William Angliss Travel and has continued with flying colours booking both domestic and international flights, tours and cruising options. She has been dedicated in understanding all aspects of travel and we are very fortunate to have someone who loves people and helping others get the most out of their travel plans.Abbey progressed through our store to eventualy become our store manager in 2011.
