Ski and Board

Its not too late to book your skiing holiday to the Northern Mountains. USA have some fantastic last minute deals as well as Canada and Japan. A Feb March Ski trip is one of the most idealic times to ski. Great long days with warm winter sun and more blue sky days than at any other time. Its my favourite time and has given me some of my best ski days over the 40 years I have been skiing.

Specifically we have some amazing deals to Canada, places like Whistler, Lake Louise, Fernie, and the twins Silver star and Big White. How about try your hand at Revelstoke or even Kicking Horse. I have spent back to back seasons in Canada and it is truly one of my favourite spots. Although I must admit, give me snow and I am happy anywhere.

Japan skiing this year will be known as the place where the crowds are not. If you want to venture over, I would reccomend it. The issues of Fukishima are reported to be very insular and the resorts are well clear of any affected area. Furano still has some great value skiing and terrain that would suit everybody.

For the more adventurous there is also Europe. If you have the time then I would certainly recommend some classic ski areas that are a must. Val d'Isere, Tigne, Chamonix, Les Arcs, St Anton Zermat to name a few. There is so much to offer in Europe and impossible to recommend just one from my own perspective. It is all about what type of skiing experience you are after and the type of holiday you want.

Remember that it is not too late to book your Summer Ski escape now.
